Thanksgiving Table / BSHT

This week I'm joining my sweet friend Lindsay from The White Buffalo Styling Co for her week of fabulous Thanksgiving tablescapes Blogger Stylin Home Tours. Its so fun to see what other bloggers come up with, there are some amazing ones so make sure you check all the tours out! (Start here) And if you are coming over here from Dwellings by DeVore, welcome! Didn't Bethany do a wonderful job?!

Thanksgiving is such a cozy fall holiday. Its just about being with those you love, eating good food and remembering to slow down for a day. I think we can all use a little bit of slowness in our lives and I love having a day to celebrate the things that matter. I also love living in South Carolina because we can use our outdoor spaces 3/4 of the year so for this Thanksgiving tablescape I pulled our table on our front porch to enjoy the crisp air and fall leaves. After dinner and watching football I'm thinking s'mores around the firepit, who's with me?
I used a neutral color palette for my table so that the gorgeous fall trees could be the real focal point. I grabbed some craft paper wrapping paper at Target and layered a simple linen table runner over it.

I grabbed some eucalyptus and hydrangeas from Trader Joes and made both these bouquets for $15 total. Both eucalyptus and hydrangeas last forever so I'm planning on enjoying these for at least a month! White pumpkins and gold candlesticks finish off the table and made for an easy setup (time is at a premium in my house with 15 month twins :-)
For each place setting I layered our grey and white stoneware with these striped French napkins from World Market. Some wood tags from the dollar section at target and fresh rosemary make the silverware feel special. The gold glasses are by Zodax.

I can't wait until we all get to gather around the table and remember everything we are thankful for. This past year was a doozy for us with the twins in the NICU, renovating two houses and moving twice. We are settled in our new house and the theme for the next 6 months for us is slow. Taking it slow, enjoying this time with the twins being at such a fun age and loving our new city. I'm thankful for that.

If you are new here, you can catch up on our newly finished renovation here

Next, head on over to My Fabuless Life and check out the tablescape, Jenn is so talented!
