backyard plans

We are getting ready to start on our backyard redo. We are adding a deck, pea gravel patio and adding sod. The deck is first up and will be started in the next couple of weeks with a goal to be done by the end of February with most of the hardscaping. We want to be able to enjoy it this spring.

This photo is what made me want a firepit on a pea gravel patio. This bad/ not to scale sketch shows our plans. 

 Deck as you come out the back door with dining and grill and then walk down onto the firepit pea gravel patio that is under two huge gorgeous trees that we have our hammock in between.

The deck will be close to the ground like this one and I love the way the steps are cut into the deck so this is what we will be doing. 

Here is the before! CANNOT WAIT to transform this space. Do you like the hose marking out where the pea gravel will go? I'm a visual person ha. 

 And I plan on throwing perfect garden parties out here with my perfectly posed golden retrievers. This picture makes me want another golden so Ro has a playmate. I can't wait to get started, I'll be posting our progress as we go along!
